The mission of the Julia A. Purnell Museum is to honor the life and legacy of Snow Hill native and avid needlepointer, Julia Purnell, by collecting, conserving, and interpreting the history and cultural heritage of Snow Hill and Worcester County. Through engaging exhibits, creative educational programs, and community partnerships, the museum invites visitors to explore and connect with the stories that shape our region's history.

Snow Hill Oral HistoriesÂ
Nick Anthis is building a community-driven history archive. He is currently looking for everyday residents willing to record short, informal oral history interviews about life in town, as well as anyone willing to share vintage photos of downtown businesses, streets, and events. Whether you have deep roots in the area or a great story to share, Nick wants to hear from you.
